July 8th [Fri]

Friday. Finally.
Yes. About the 50m br yesterday. I did 36.19, which puts me in first going into the finals. It's an okay time, and you can stop complaining about the unfairness of it already, Gerard. Girls are supposed to be weaker than boys anyway. =P
But frankly I almost don't want to be in lane 4 for the finals. It's nerve-wrecking. And I also almost wish the school wasn't taking it so seriously. How come CMU comes and revises cheers for the swimming nats, but never for track or basketball of netball or whatever? -pressure overload.

Anyways. I skipped training today cos the whole Sec1 cohort was forced to stay back to audition for some stupid Racial Harmony Day parade. Our class was supposed to dress up as Thai food - yes, food - and perform. Like WTF?!
Oh course, the prganizers missed the main point, which basically was that we didn't wanna participate in their stupid parade to begin with. So we purposely screwed up our auditions, so we wouldn't get chosen. Not that that was too difficult, we barely had any preparations anyway. All we did was dress up in red/white and spin around in circles while Sixuan read the script. It was hopeless.
But still, it held us back til about 3.45, by which time I was hot and sweaty and too sian to go training. Oh, and they also threatened to thorow our bags out of the classrooms if we didn't clear them out by 3.15 to prepare for the Meet-the-Parents. Obviously they didn't in the end, but they did barge in while we were packing up/changing back into the pinafore. So there were a bunch of girls changing when this malay man walked in. How indecent.

Alright. My parents aren't coming home for dinner tonight, so I'll probably keep the computer on til 11, so I might blog again.
