If I love you,
Let me hate you
envy you
cherish you
harm you
heal you
despise you
undo you
destroy you
create you
understand you
animate you
kill you
revive you
kiss you
distrust you
need you.

Most of all,
Let me forget you.

July 26th [Tues]

GASP.
I can't effing believe it.
I can't believe I'm actually enjoying japanese comics.

-double GASP.

My eyes. My eyes feel so sinful.

I know, I know.
The writing is unskilled, the plot is predictable and the content is oh-so-questionable.
But it's gooood.
Oooh it's good.

And yeaa Moops. Soshi is sho hawt.
Yeah baby! -whoots.
[I also can't believe I'm falling for a hand-drawn cartoon. Somebody slap me.]

July 23rd [Sat]

Aww man.
Inspecting the henna design on my hand.
I wanna get it off.
But I can't.
Jeesh. Should never have volunteered my hand.
And now it's not coming off for another week.
Eeeeks.

Alright.
Enough obsessing.
You might notice
my excessive paragraphing?
I like it.
It's nice typing this way.
Kinda like how I would on messenger.
But I suppose it's kinda tiring for you?
Yknow what? I don't care.

I shall carry on paragraphing.

Hmm. Went shopping today again.
But didn't buy much.
There wasn't anything nice. )=
Forum is kinda disappointing.
Even Blackjack didn't have anything.
And I realised I can't fit into D&G kids anymore.
Awww.

Which reminds me.
I need new zic pens.
Mine have run out.

God.
The freaky indian boy on the 7th floor is looking again.
He's forever there when I use the computer.
He stares down out of his window into mine.
It's totally annoying-ass.
He's gone now.
My dad just came into the room.
Pssft.
The next time I see him I shall flash my 3rd finger.
[At the boy, not my dad.]

Kay.
My little finger in getting tired from pressing enter.
I shall stop now.

-STOP-

July 22nd [Fri]

Ahh. 3 days of rehearsals gone in barely 30sec on stage.
Today was a total waste of time.

Anyways. I got a gmail account. (= Persuaded Xurui to invite me, so here it is: leather.with.lace@gmail.com

Mmm. And I've still got to upload some pics of the swim team. Too lazy to do it now. x)

July 20th [Wed]

Hmm.
Toying with the idea of changing blogs.
I'm kinda tired of never-after.
How does pull-the-trigger.blogspot.com sound?
Or chokeme.blogspot.com or showdoll.blogspot.com?
leather-and-lace, showcasing, vignette (.blogspot.com)?

Of course, I'd love to get hosted. (= -hint hint.
If anyone's got a .net or .org or .nu or .com or whatever, and is willing to waste their bandwidth on me, I'd love you forever and eternity.
(Kinda.)

Yes. Please tag your comments. I'm not sure which name sounds best. =/

July 19th [Tues]

Oh man oh man oh man.
Racial Harmony sucks.
Today we stayed back in school until 7pm for the Racial Harmony concert rehearsal. And of that 3 and 1/2 hours, we appeared on stage for like, 30sec. The rest of the time we spent in the canteen stoning away. How retarded.
So, our class purposely screwed up the auditions at first, hoping that we wouldn't get chosen to perform on the actual day. Then, OH, guess what? Every friggin sec1 class has to appear. Jeesh. Why bother with auditions then?
So all the time we spent noticeably off-stage was while those 3 sec 1+2 classes who actually bothered to prepare something were showcasing themselves. Such a waste of time. Do they not have common sense? Here's an idea: let us go off first! DUHH.
But still. We started off by waiting 2hours for our turn on stage. Then we went up, for like, 30 messy seconds and went off. Then we were 'debriefed'. Hurr. More like screamed at for 10mins.
Then we got herded back into the canteen where we waited another whole friggin hour plus PLUS. And then just as we're lining up to rehearse it one more time, now with the 'dry-weather-plan' in the amphi, surprise SURPRISE! That Sandy Liow teacher goes and says, OH, it looks like it's gonna rain, we're gonna let you off now as we know some of you all are gonna be taking public transport and we don't wanna inconvenience you. HELLO?! Inconvenience us? Oh my, how considerate, except it's about 3 hours LATE?! GOD some people are just THICK.
And that's not it. we still have another 'debriefing'. This time, she drones on and on about us having improved. And she's proud of us for our enthusiasm. Did I say she was thick? Make that CEMENTED. Enthusiasm is not the first word which comes to mind when describing us. I'd try 'threatened into showing up on the pretence of DETENTIONS and BOOKINGS and BETA RECORDS'. Man!
I can't believe how unreasonable teachers can be. They say they've been working in the school for a decade and in that decade, they can't even figure out that performing in a racial harmony concert infront of all your seniors while dressed up as food is not remotely enjoyable. I don't feel the 'ownership' of this project neither do I feel 'committed'. Gosh. It's not 'ours' either. It's just yours yours yours and maybe those classes with decent performances. And it's especially not mine when you're making me stay back till 7pm.

PS: In case anyone's wondering, my class is dressed up as Thai food, namely Tomyum. I'm a rice. All white, so it's the easiest. She wants us to be creative and dramatized. We're supposed to be egoistical and when we go on, we've gotta say, LOOK AT ME! (or some crap like that.) We're supposed to think up our own actions. We've gotta think, if I were a vegetable, what would I do? Hmmm. We're food, damnit, FOOD. How animate can food GET?! (And besides, we're gonna be on stage for like, the best part of 20sec. Not 20mins. How much action can you put into 20sec? Not much, that's how much. Jeesh.)

PPS: I finished Harry Potter VI on Saturday. It's really really so good. Highly recommended. (=

July 14th [Thurs]

Wheehee. I've got so much to blog.
Okay. To start with yesterday. It was the final day of the finals. Yeah, and I totally screwed up my plunge into 50 br, so I lost the gold to Tammie by a few split-seconds. Oh well.
Anyways, after my warm down I went to bathe and change. Then I realised that our team jersey is quite translucent. NEVERMIND. I shall not elaborate.
Mhmm and then Kat Wanting Crystal Shauna Ser and I were psyco-ing our selves out. Quite retarded: breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, HOO. LOL.
Then it was relay. Shauna Ser Cheryl and I were cheering at the sidelines like siao. Then Miss Mariette gave us the school flag so Ser and I were taking turns to wave it, and I was quite useless laa, kept hitting the top of the competitor's reporting tent. But both our teams lost to SS anyways, aww.
But we still won the overall championships for both division, and when SS was read out as the 2nd place, you could see the RG girls in the stands all jumping already, it was pretty darn cool man. (= So fun. Yay!
Then we had to sing all the school songs of the Raffles family. And we did Unite. Haha now I've got a sore throat from screaming man.
Aha. Then suddenly people started pushing people into the pool. It was quite violent LOL like, they'd have all the limbs captured. Then the sec4s oushed Miss Mariette into the the pool, and then one thing led to another and Shauna and Ser went in, and this guy [Austin Peh? I'm not sure] tried to get Pam into the pool but she was clinging onto me and I was clinging onto the tent pole, lol trying to save our pathetic asses. Then Nat and Shauna decided I looked too dry then they dragged me to the pool laa. I was shrieking all the way, I'm like STOP LEMME TAKE OFF MY SHOES! and whatever crap trying to stall them, then they're like, alright, then I took of my shoes and tried to get away but they pushed my right in. LOL I wasn't even in my costume laa, I'm like soaking in the team jersey in my underwear and it was INDECENT. I'm all, crap laa, I don't even have a change of clothes. Aww man, those retards who pushed me in. xP
Yes. But it was fun anyways. And I managed to hug Xin Er and get her wet too. Wahahas.

Then we went off for the team dinner in Cafe Catel in Plaza Sing. Lol we made Shauna pay for the GST cos we were too lazy to calculate, and she jumped queue anyways. Oya, and then we started playing with these funky floating candles at every table, and we were pouring vinegar and mozzerella cheese and barbequeing fries on top of them, then they both went out. So sad. Then Ting Wen wanted to go ask the waiter guy to light them up and cos we poured vinegar which we though was combustive, and it'd go boom in his face. But he looked at it suspiciously and took it away. Aww. Spoil-sport.
Mhm. And there was a lot a lot of photo taking. Rach Yeung's going away so that's sad, so we wanted to go take neos but there were no machines nearby so oh well.
Then my mum was waiting for me and Yvonne [since she was taking a ride] upstairs level 4 in best denki. So Yvonne and I ran off for the lift, and we caught it just as the doors were closing and we were like, wait up, wait up! Then the people inside opened up for us, and we went in and 5 seconds later, ZZZZZ. Breakdown. Oh man, how suay is that? Then there was one solitary light out of 4, and the guy next to me [there were 8 of us in total in the lift] was like, SHIT. LOL they must have been thinking like, these two girls damn jinx laa. Then I caled my mum and told her I was stuck in the lift, and she's like, don't bluff. OI. And then Yvonne is like, we'll survive, cos she had her spare ribs from dinner she ta-paoed and her gatorade, and I had my water, so we wouldn't die of starvation. RETARD! Hahas. Eeeeks and also this teenage couple started hugging and kissing and touchy-feely all over and it was kinda disgusting to look, but you didn't know where to turn, cos if I looked infront it was mirrored and I'd see their reflection, but if I turned around I'd see them in actual inseperable self.
Then we rang and rang and rang the buzzer then finally this ovice came over the intercom and he's like, the technician is coming soon. So we waited for like, 7 mins. Then again, the voice is like, is there light? Is there fan? Then we're like, yeah, there's ventilation cos the doors weren't completely closed, so we could feel the aircon from outside. Is there light? Yeah, there's one light, then POOF, the light went off then we're all freaking out THERE'S NO LIGHT THERE'S NO LIGHT! HAHAS then 2 seconds later then light came back on again, and the light started moving.
An experience.

And then today. I shall keep this brief, We had aesthetics in school today, last session of Poise and Confidence, we did needlework again and we sewed a belt, and when I finished, I was like, hallelujah it fits! and Mrs Wong was like, yeah, at your hips Victoria! Lol quite spastic.
And then we had a bio practical summative test, which was okay laa, and all that last minute cramming we did during lunch wasn't even tested. Oh man.
Then I went for riding, and Pedja took me cos Daniel wasn't there, and Aaron and Luke didn't show so it was just me on Tradetime and it was cool. We didn't jump at all, but we did some flexion crap and byt the end of the lesson Trade was on the bit on all walk trot and canter. How friggin eh-ma-zing is that? -beam.

And that's all I've got to blog. I hope this super long post doesn't get erased or I shall SCREAM. =/

July 12th [Tues]

Alright. Just finished the 100 br. Came in third after En Yuan and Dan Dan. Oh man. I lost the silver by 0.1 seconds. Crap. How wasted is that?
Nevermind. Oh ya, and RG was basically the only school which sent supporters. It was kinda spastic, cos like we had 4 busloads of people and the other schools had like, zilch. Well, except for ACS but they didn't have many. So they'd scream whenever someone from RG RI or RJ swam, and when I finished my swim they were all, well done Victoria, and I was kinda shocked. Ya. Oh, and all their cheers weren't very low/clear. Hmm. I suppose they all signed up to skip school.
Yes. And another thing. There wer these two GIANT banners from the Raffles Parent's association, and guess what? They didn't even put RG anywhere. It was RI and RJ all over the place but not even one SINGLE RG. How sexist. =/

Okay. I'm going back this afternoon for the IM relay. I really really really hope we win. (= GO US! And I've got 50 br tomorrow, which I'm feeling alot more confident for after this morning. [I did the first lap in 37 and I wasn't that tired. But of course, after the second lap I was dying. Note to self: Never never never again will I go for a 2-week long holiday 2 weeks before the competition.]

Cheers, and wish me luck. (=

July 10th [Sun]

Quizzes are <3>
Victoria, your pop star style is Loud 'n Proud!
Shy? You? Never. You've got a lot to say and you're not afraid to say it — you probably freely give advice to your friends and family, have strong opinions about all kinds of issues, and love to laugh, sing, and be the life of the party (You just might get a kick out of arguing, too). A limelight lover like you would have no problem strutting your stuff on stage. You're a wildflower not a wallflower, so when it comes to picking your outfit for your first public performance, you should choose something that matches your fiery spirit. Think bright colors and prints, tough leather pants, or accessories that might weigh more than you do. Don't think twice if your clothes clash — a rebel like you doesn't have to match. You've got the kind of style that shines through in every bold outfit, gesture, and opinion you throw out there. So keep making those waves you're so good at. And don't let anyone get in the way of your unstoppable passion for life!
Hmm. I didn't know that.

Victoria, you're a Hollywood Bash
Ever get called a classic? We bet you have. You've got a great sense of style, and we bet you always know what looks good on you. You probably like the finer things in life and don't mind paying a little extra to get exactly what you want. And that's why a fancy and fabulous Hollywood bash would be an award-winning event. Cheers to that!
Ahh. Calling me materialistic is a tactful way, no? Oh well I suppose it's kind of a compliment. =/

Victoria, your celebrity soul mate is someone who's Cute
Your natural, no nonsense approach to life is like a breath of fresh air in the hoopla of Hollywood. A sweetheart like you would be best matched with a celeb who's as down-to-earth as you are. Someone who is cute and fun to be around is what it'll take to make your heart go pitter-patter. A cutie pie like Orlando Bloom is just what the love doctor ordered for you.You and your perfect partner would have a blast on low-key dates away from all the glitz and glam of Tinseltown. What could be better than a quiet night at home with a movie, popcorn, and plenty of one-on-one time with your beloved? So, pop in a DVD and enjoy a cozy night with your celeb soul mate! And if your celeb soul mate can't make it, someone sweet is probably waiting to curl up with a cutie like you! So get out there and meet them!
It sure takes a long time to show, doesn't it? O.O

Victoria, you're most like Sophia
While she may misplace her glasses often, Sophia's still sharp as a tack — mentally and verbally. You don't have to be Sicilian to be a sassy character like Sophia who's got her own opinions and ideas about everything. Smart and clever, you're wise beyond your years no matter how old or young you actually are. And underneath all that strong will, you've got a soft side and a big heart that makes you great to have around. When you're cooking, telling stories, or cracking everyone up, you're sure to liven up any event. Mama mia!
LOL now this I like. Smart and sassy. Mama mia alright. (=

Quizzes are a great ego-boost. <3<3<3

July 10th [Sun]

Oh crap. I just realized I've got 2 bookings already. One more and it's off to DC.
Oh man. I've gotta be good.

No more ankle socks.
No more low belts.
No more untucked PE shirts
No more missing nametags

No more fun. )=
This seriously sucks.

Anyways. Mum and I went shopping today at Forum for Jin and Mei's bday prezzies, and also Daddy's bday prezzie (tomorrow! -gasp gasp.) Yes. So we got Jin this lego pen which lights up and this Ghost Recon game. It said Mature Content: Blood and Gore so he should like it. LOL. And we got Mei this MyScene Shopping Spree doll, which was purple, so I think she'll like it. Actually I thought she'd like Winx more than MyScene but they didn't have so oh well.
(Wait. I can't belive it. I'm talking like a P1. Eeeeks.)
And we bought Daddy a D&G shirt. Oh, and I got a top from Blackjack, and that's it.

Guess what. They're out for dinner again. Jeesh. But I suppose it's okay laa, since I get to use the computer all night. (= Yeaa baby!

July 8th [Fri]

ISIS dear.
My blue-blooded, oxygen-deprived friend who thinks milk is white, while in fact it's OFF-white.
ISIS dear.
The twisted mind who insults my royal PURPLE blood and calls me off. Psfffht

OOOHLALA NOW LOOK WHO'S THE HOT BABE HERE?
ISIS YOU FUNKY ASS, I THE PURPLE-BLOODED, DECLARE YOU CHIO-ER THAN ME.
AND THAT'S THAT. (=

I <3 ISIS.
Could you tell?

PS: I think waiting in the sun in the competitior's stand has done something to my brain. Ignore this post.

July 8th [Fri]

Friday. Finally.
Yes. About the 50m br yesterday. I did 36.19, which puts me in first going into the finals. It's an okay time, and you can stop complaining about the unfairness of it already, Gerard. Girls are supposed to be weaker than boys anyway. =P
But frankly I almost don't want to be in lane 4 for the finals. It's nerve-wrecking. And I also almost wish the school wasn't taking it so seriously. How come CMU comes and revises cheers for the swimming nats, but never for track or basketball of netball or whatever? -pressure overload.

Anyways. I skipped training today cos the whole Sec1 cohort was forced to stay back to audition for some stupid Racial Harmony Day parade. Our class was supposed to dress up as Thai food - yes, food - and perform. Like WTF?!
Oh course, the prganizers missed the main point, which basically was that we didn't wanna participate in their stupid parade to begin with. So we purposely screwed up our auditions, so we wouldn't get chosen. Not that that was too difficult, we barely had any preparations anyway. All we did was dress up in red/white and spin around in circles while Sixuan read the script. It was hopeless.
But still, it held us back til about 3.45, by which time I was hot and sweaty and too sian to go training. Oh, and they also threatened to thorow our bags out of the classrooms if we didn't clear them out by 3.15 to prepare for the Meet-the-Parents. Obviously they didn't in the end, but they did barge in while we were packing up/changing back into the pinafore. So there were a bunch of girls changing when this malay man walked in. How indecent.

Alright. My parents aren't coming home for dinner tonight, so I'll probably keep the computer on til 11, so I might blog again.

July 6th [Wed]

I can't believe I just threw away 3 bucks.
Today at recess there were these ACSi guys trying to sell concert tickets for some chamber orchestra and whatever. So cos Ms Wong was on MC, we let ourselves out for recess early, and naturally they came to try and sell to us since we were the first in the canteen.
Then they approached chio-bu Chrisanda. And Chrisanda, Weixian, Nora, Joon Ting and the whole bunch were mean. They were like, 'wrong person' to the boys and pointed to me, innocently queueing up at the cookie stall. Yes. So they fairly ambushed me instead. I told them I wasn't interested in any concert save Good Charlotte, and they were like, we can be like Good Charlotte. DIAO!
Duh I turned them down, since I don't want a ticket. Then while we were seated they came again. Man these guys were desperate, they stuck around for a long time. And they were like, you can pay $6 to watch me, and I'm like, why would I wanna watch you? So retarded. This guy was even willing to pay $3 if I'd pay the other half. No thanks. And to think 206 was also sabo-ing us. How evil.
So in the end, to get them to go away, Chrisanda and I ended up sharing the ticket for the guitar thingy even though we don't wanna go anyway. Come to think of it, we should have taken that guy up on his offer of his paying half of it. Save me $1.50.

PS: My class is evil. So is 206. But only Chrisanda is nice. (= LOL.
PPS: If anyone's interested in a ticket to the ACSI guitar concert thingy, call me. Trust me, you'd be doing me a favour, I won't even ask for a refund.

July 5th [Tues]

Yes. New layout. It's in a new style and altogether different css coding, but I made it and it was just so cute that I couldn't not use it. Anyways, I thought it'd be good to spend the whole morning working on the codes rather than keep worrying about the competition this afternoon.

Damn. I reminded myself again.

100 breastroke. Why do 2 laps suddenly seem so long?

July 2nd [Sat]

Went for a new chinese tuition today and saw Ren Jean there. What a coincidence. It was kinda really boring, to tell the truth, but whatever.

Then at riding, Daniel called me and Amanda out of the lesson after we finished our canter, cos Channel U wanted to film, and he wanted them to film us [don't ask me why us, I've been wondering the same thing.] Yes. So we had to stand there looking totally constipated while pretending to groom Johnny while the camera guy loomed with his fancy camera equiptment stuff. And Johnny got scared of the camera.
Then later the camera guy wanted to interview us. He's like:
"Can we ask you a few questions?"
And I'm like, "Erh, I suppose."
"Can you speak in chinese, cos this is for a chinese channel and it would be better."
"Chinese?! No way. I do not speak chinese."
And this continued [with Amanda, duh] and some slight variations. The bottom line is, we didn't get interviewed cos we refused to get laughed at on national TV because of our less-than-desirable chinese. So he said we'd "got a lucky break" and went to interview these 3 like beginner riders who were willing to show off their kindergarten chinese and didn't answer the question. But whatever. Better them than us. Now if it were Channel News Asia...
Yes. I think they probably couldn't find anything else newsworthy to fill up their programme so they decided to come to the club as like, a last resort. How totally pathetic. No more chopped up bodies, neh?

PS: The thing is airing 11pm tonight on Channel U [SCV Channel 09] , if anyone cares to watch.

July 1st [Fri]

New seating arrangements for T3. Now I'm as far away from my old seat as I could possibly be. Ms Lim split our [clique] all up. I mean, all up. So now I'm like Joon Ting where art thou? I miss my old seat man.

Ms Ong had us do this totally retarded book club thing for English. So now I've gotta read Tuesdays with Morrie, Little Women, Red Sky in the Morning and Totto-chan before the end of term. Eeeek. I've basically read them all except for Red Sky in the Morning, and please, they sucked. Now I've gotta reread them. Gahh.

Heats are next week. I don't think I'm back in competing shape, but frankly I don't think I care. Jiao Lian seems strangely pissed with me. Hurr. Whatever. I'm just aiming for the finals is all.
